How to Properly Choose & Use a UPS

In this video I explain how to choose an Uninterruptable Power Supply (UPS) to protect your computer and other electronically sensitive devices from damage due to storms or neighbors who like to play with circuit breakers. I go over what to plug into and what to avoid plugging into an UPS. Additionally I use a web calculator that is designed to assist people in choosing the correct UPS based on the equipment’s power requirement.

Thanks. Very informative. I needed a UPS for a Desktop that have a 1100W power supply and graphic card that takes 550W. This seems too small for my needs.
